Job opening at Haymarket Media Group

Haymarket Media Group, Britain’s largest privately-held media company, which publishes Autocar, What Car?, Stuff, and various other magazines, is hiring. They are looking to recruit editorial trainees/junior editorial hands for their India editions of Autocar. The positions are based in Mumbai and come with an attractive pay package. Candidates who have completed the Certificate Course in Editing and Publishing are encouraged to apply. Admission to the course will take place on 3 January 2017 from 5:30 pm in the classroom of the School of Cultural Texts and Records (see below). The course fee of Rs 10,000 is to be paid preferably on the same day or by Monday 10 January.  The fee may be paid through cheque or demand draft payable in Kolkata, made out to the ‘The Registrar, Jadavpur University’.

Unless specified, most EditPub classes will take place in the classrooms of the School of Cultural Texts and Records. These rooms are located on the top floor of the Rabindra Bhavan building (next to Darshan Bhavan), five minutes' walk from Gate No. 5 (see below)

Certificate Course in Editing and Publishing
at the School of Cultural Texts and Records, Jadavpur University

Applications are invited from Honours graduates in any discipline for a PG Certificate Course in Editing and Publishing to be conducted by the School of Cultural Texts and Records, Jadavpur University, from 3 January - 21 April 2017. Classes will normally be held three days a week from 6-8 p.m. (Tue, Wed, Thu). Applicants have to appear for a screening test on 16 December 2016 (Friday), at 6 p.m., to be held on the first floor of the UG Arts Building.

Course fee: Rs 10,000
